The CB 350 Four

The CB 350 Four

The Honda CB 350 Four was the smallest inline 4 cylinder ever produced for commercial purpose. Soichiro Honda was very pleased with this model which became his favourite. The CB 350 Twin model was still in production in 1972, and these two bikes were of course closely compared by the prospective customers. The twin was well known for its quality and the engine had better torque at lower speed. On the other hand, the CB 350 Four was in comparisson totally free of vibration and a much more smooth ride. The bike was engineered to run on high rpm's and gave the rider a fun kick at 6-7000 rpm. The redline started at 10 000 rpm and stopped at 11 000 rpm!

It was produced in the period 1972-1974 and was delivered in 3 colours in US:

1972: Candy Bacchus Olive Green and Flake Matador Red
1973: Candy Bacchus Olive Green and Flake Matador Red
1974: Glory Blue Black Metalic

In Europe the colours also were in silver and plain red, but not the black metalic.
